The leading Russian truck builder is presenting high-tech KAMAZ vehicles of the K5 generation at the International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM. Central Asia, which is taking place on April 20-22 in Tashkent.
INNOPROM. Central Asia is organized in Tashkent for the sixth time. Several hundred companies traditionally demonstrate their solutions here. KAMAZ is a regular participant in this large-scale business event. This year, the flagship of the latest K5 model range, the KAMAZ–54901 (4x2) mainline tractor, is presented at the company's exposition. The leader of the Russian freight engineering industry is ready to supply one of the most sought-after models in the modern product line to the friendly Republic of Uzbekistan, contributing to the development of logistics services and the growth of the region's economy.
This model was launched in 2020 and is now being produced on an updated sanctions-resistant component base. The truck has gained customers' trust in a short period of time, becoming especially in demand in the Russian logistics market. The high demand for the flagship K5 from carriers is due to its operational and customer properties. The main tractor is equipped with an in-line six-cylinder KAMAZ (Euro 5) engine with a displacement of 13 liters, a power of 482 hp and a torque of 2403 Nm. The use of modern high-tech design solutions has made it possible to increase the service interval to 120 thousand km, and the engine life to 1.5 million km, while reducing fuel consumption by 10% compared to previous generation vehicles. The KAMAZ-54901 tractor is equipped with a new 12-speed robotic gearbox featuring a low noise level and high efficiency, which reduces fuel consumption.
Separately, it is worth noting the modern, spacious cabin with a flat floor and two berths, which provides an increased level of comfort for the driver to work and relax. The cabin has a multimedia system with a 15.6" touchscreen display, with functions of a navigator, radio, hands-free communication systems, music playback, online or offline video viewing, control of vehicle parameters, control of the cabin heater and preheater.
The KAMAZ-65954 (6x6) tractor truck, a representative of the K5 generation four–wheel drive family, was also presented at the company's stand. The model was launched into mass production in 2025 and is a novelty of the high-tech K5 line. The vehicles and chassis of the K5 four-wheel drive model range are designed for use both on paved roads and under high cross-country conditions. They are designed for the transportation of goods for various purposes, operation as part of road trains with a gross weight of up to 100 tonnes, installation of special and specialized equipment.
